Why alignment saves you tires

[Placeholder] Your brakes give you plenty of warning before they become a problem — if you know what to listen and feel for. Here are the five signs we tell every customer to watch.
1. The squeal
[Placeholder] That high-pitched squeal is a wear indicator doing its job. It means the pad material is getting thin and it is time to come in soon — not an emergency yet, but do not put it off.
2. The grind
[Placeholder] Grinding is the sound of metal on metal. At this point the pad is gone and you are damaging the rotor. Stop driving on it and get in right away.
3. A soft pedal
[Placeholder] If the pedal feels soft or sinks toward the floor, you may have a fluid or hydraulic issue. That is a safety problem worth checking immediately.
Not sure which one you are hearing? Bring it by — the brake inspection is free with any service, and we will tell you straight.
