Q. When can I bring my damaged vehicle to you?

Anytime. Our business hours are 7:30AM to 6:00PM., Monday through Friday. We are closed Saturday & Sunday. If these times are not convenient, please use our 24/7 drop box or call 281-358-8474 for an appointment.

Q. What is a Drop Box?

The Drop Box is a secure, convenient box which sits just outside our gate. There is a safe place for you to park your vehicle and to leave your key, with information about you & your damage. The next business day, we will begin processing your vehicle, contacting you personally to confirm that this is your vehicle and what you need from us.

Q. What if my car is not drivable?

No problem, just call 281-358- 8474 to schedule your car to be delivered to Kenneth’s by our 24/7 wrecker service.

Q. Do I have a choice as to where I take my vehicle to be repaired?

By law, you have the right to choose the repair shop of your choice. Insurance companies can only recommend repair shops, but cannot coerce or force you to go to any particular shop. At Kenneth’s, we work with all legitimate insurance companies to help process your claim and to give you the quality repair you deserve.

Q. Do I need more than one estimate?

No. Repair estimates are standardized for the insurance industry. At Kenneth’s we are a licensed shop that utilizes a computerized repair database to produce accurate damage estimates. We will work closely with your insurance company to accurately repair your vehicle.

Q. Do I have to pay a deductible?

The amount of deductible is determined by your insurance policy and whom was at fault in the accident. Contact your insurance agent for details on your deductible.

Q. Who do I pay my deductible to?

If you have a deductible, it will be your responsibility to pay us when you pick up your vehicle. If you aren’t sure about your deductible, please contact your agent.

Q. Do I need a rental car?

If you need a rental car, we would be happy to assist you to make the necessary arrangements. Insurance companies will only pay for a rental car if you have that option on your policy or if you are the claimant. Check your policy and/or call your insurance agent to find out if you have rental coverage and what your specific limitations are.

Q. Can I get a ride home when I drop off my car?

Yes. If you need a ride to work or home when you drop off your car for repair, and when your car is ready to go we can pick you up with our courtesy shuttle. (Local area only)

Q. Can you match the paint color?

Yes. Today’s modern factory finishes incorporate multiple coats of highly specialized paints. We have made a major investment in the finest computerized paint mixing system available and constantly upgrade our equipment and database to ensure that each vehicle we paint matches the factory original color. We take special pride in our ability to match factory finishes as the final step in the restoration process.

Q. If my vehicle’s frame is damaged, is it a total loss?

No. A car is usually a total loss only when the price of repairs exceeds the insurance company’s determined value of your vehicle. Today, most cars are built using a unibody construction (frame and body as one). Our experienced, certified technicians, using state-of the-art equipment, can return your vehicle to its pre-accident condition. If a frame section is bent beyond repair, only that section would simply be replaced.

Q. How long will the repairs to my vehicle take?

Your service advisor can give you an estimate of the time it will take to complete the repair of your vehicle. Time is an important part of your repair.

Q. How will I know when my car is finished?

You will be contacted by your service advisor during the process as well as when your vehicle is ready to be picked up. Feel free to call or e-mail your service advisor during the repair process if you have questions or concerns.

Q. What are betterment charges?

Parts that wear out and need replacement with time and use (e.g. tires, batteries, and suspension parts) are commonly subject to betterment pro-rated charges when they are replaced during the repair process. These betterment charges are determined by your insurance company and are pro-rated based on the actual miles on your vehicle.

Yes. Kenneth’s Car Care guarantees all Collision repairs with a Lifetime Warranty!

 Q. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Cash, and Checks with proper ID.

 Q. Can I wash my car after I pick it up?

Yes. You may wash your vehicle as soon as you would like. We wash every vehicle that is repaired in the body shop just before delivery.
